Vetoquinol, five production sites close to our clients
There are five of our international production sites worldwide, where 31 million boxes are produced in various forms. Each site specialises in specific galenic formulations. And because they’re part of the Vetoquinol, they all respect the strictest manufacturing standards with a constant focus on quality. To optimise responsiveness and logistical costs, they primarily serve local markets. But they’re also able to supply to the rest of the world.
One of Vetoquinol’s greatest strengths is our ability to flex and adapt to market demands. And so, our international production sites can produce medicines in medium and even small quantities, depending on our clients’ needs.
Standards at our international production sites
At Vetoquinol, we adhere to increasingly stringent pharmaceutical standards. Our international production sites are compliant with Manufacturing Best Practices. Vetoquinol’s commitment to national and international professional organisations (Health for Animals, IFAH Europe, SIMV), enables us to anticipate and adapt to changes in regulation.
The Darwin program of continuous day-to-day improvement
All Vetoquinol teams are involved in a program of continuous improvement named Darwin, which has been underway since 2009. Among other things, this program has helped us reduce our lead-times for supplying products by 25%.
As well as Darwin, every Vetoquinol employee also regularly participates in optimisation projects run by our Industrial and Quality Division.
Industrial and Administrative Premises "LILAS" (Lure, France)
By opening these premises in 2020, we’ve been able to develop our ‘Autonomous Dry Forms Unit’, which is where we manufacture our tablets. Our LILAS site has also given us the storage and operational space we need to optimise our packaging division. 300 members of the Vetoquinol team work in this modern facility.
